I'm a lifelong creative and teacher, and a woman who’s rewritten her story more times than most people dare to imagine.

For me, creativity isn’t just a hobby — it’s been the thread that’s stitched me back together during life’s biggest plot twists. Whether it was painting wild horses, sculpting jewelry from clay, or writing affirmations in moonlight, making has always been my medicine.

But for too long, I treated my gifts like they were “extra,” or mysterious.
Nice. Therapeutic. But not serious.
Not the real path forward.

Then everything cracked open.

After leaving a 21-year marriage and then a 16 year business partnership, and walking away from who other people thought I should be, I made a sacred promise to myself:

✨ I will never again abandon my joy, vision, or voice just to keep the peace.

Those moments became my rebirth.

I built a multiple six-figure art supply brand from scratch. There was no "business plan." There was just a promise to myself to start a podcast, and not "pod-fade-" a term we were using in 2007 to describe people who started a show and then faded out after a couple of months because not enough people were "liking" the episodes. That show now has over 800 videos for crafters to watch and learn about polymer clay.

I became a 4x bestselling author, a retreat leader, and a guide for women ready to reclaim their own magic.

I went from quietly coping to fully claiming my space in the world — as an artist, a businesswoman, and a sovereign soul.

Today, I help other women do the same.

Graduated from SUNY Buffalo State University with a BS in Art Education and a minor in Art Therapy. Spent many years doing odd jobs because art teacher positions are harder to get!

Opened my first Etsy shop in 2006.

Started @polymerclaytv YouTube channel and Polymer Clay podcast, opened the Polymer Clay Tribe FB group, and published Polymer Clay Art Jewelry with F+W Media which was sold at all craft retailers, Barnes + Noble, and is still on Amazon.

Hosted Polymer Clay Adventure yearly online art retreat while building CreateAlong.com product line. Bought a house to use as a workshop, and had my first $50K month in business. Since 2015, I have never dipped below at $10K month!

Discovered CreateAlong's Etsy shop has reached Top 1% status- and then .3%, outselling 99.7% of all shops....without ever using marketing. In fact, I hid the Etsy shop in favor of my Shopify because of the fees!

$2.9 million earned, and counting - on Shopify, Amazon, Etsy, Wix, Gumroad, Teachable, Kartra... you name it, I've tried the software (I'm a closet nerd). I've done it all- physical products, print on demand, a monthly magazine, a subscription box, 3 brick and mortar stores and a whole-ass warehouse, launches for various product lines - one time I invested $12K in buying a company, and made the money back in a week.
